Instructions for Mac OS X

1). Open up Word or the document you would like to print and click on Print.

2). At the top of the print window, it should have a button that says Copies & Pages.  Click on that and choose Color/Quality.

3). Click the checkbox that says, "Print Color as Gray".

Now to have it default to this setting there is one more step.

4). Right above the Color/Quality button is a button that says "Default Settings".  Click on that and choose "Save Current Settings as Preset"

5). Give it a name and click OK.

Now every time you print, choose that preset and it will print in black & white.
